Advanced Bitonal Compression (ABC) is the best 1 bit lossless compression provided by LEAD. It gives better results than JBIG, or CCITT G4, and it gives better compression for computer or electronic generated documents than for scanned documents. You can read and write files in this format.
With ABC, there are also lossy options. You can specify the quality factor using QualityFactor.
This format is available only in selected LEADTOOLS products. For a list of products, refer to LEADTOOLS ABC (Advanced Bitonal Compression) or the Products Overview at www.leadtools.com/home2/VertMkts/LTProdOvrvw.htm.
The default extension used by this format is: ABC.
