The cross-product annotation object (AnnCrossProductObject) consists of two rulers intersecting at right angles. With the automated functions, the cross product is started on a mouse-down event and completed on a mouse-up event.
Programmatically, the points that define this crossproduct are contained in the FirstStartPoint, FirstEndPoint, SecondStartPoint, SecondEndPoint and IntersectionPoint properties. Each object has a transformation associated with it. This transform is accessed through the RenderTransform property. The TransformObjectMode property indicates how the transform will be used to transform The WPF annotation object.
The AnnCrossProductObject class inherits a number of properties from the AnnObjectBase class that provide support for font, stroke and fill characteristics. These properties are listed below:
Fill Stroke StrokeDashArray StrokeDashCap StrokeDashOffset StrokeEndLineCap StrokeLineJoin StrokeMiterLimit StrokeStartLineCap StrokeThickness FontDecorations FontFamily FontSize FontStretch FontStyle FontWeight SupportsFill SupportsFont SupportsStroke
The name of the crossproduct object can be controlled using the following properties, inherited from the AnnObjectBase class:
Header HeaderBackground HeaderDecorations HeaderFontFamily HeaderFontSize HeaderFontStretch HeaderFontStyle HeaderFontWeight HeaderForeground HeaderOffset IsHeaderRestricted IsHeaderVisible
The boundaries and location of the crossproduct object can be controlled using the following properties:
Since the crossproduct object consists of two rulers, it has certain ruler characteristics pertaining to the length, tick marks and gauge. The following properties may be used to customize these ruler characteristics and determine what exactly is displayed when the crossproduct object is drawn:
GaugeLength MeasurementUnit Precision IsRulerImplemented ShowGauge ShowLength ShowTickMarks TickMarksLength UnitAbbreviation
An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time. The Container property and the Group property, both inherited from the AnnObjectBase class, contain information on the container or the group to which the object belongs.
The following properties can also be used to programmatically set characteristics of an AnnCrossProductObject class object:
