The LEADTOOLS Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) module is used for recognizing optical marks (check marks) in scanned documents.
Optical Mark Recognition is used in surveys, polls, academic exams and official applications, to recognize marks that the users make to indicate their selections. Marks, including tick marks, Xs, lines, and scribbles, are made in different frames, including boxes, circles or ellipses.
The OMR features are included as an add-on module to extend the functionality
of the LEADTOOLS Document Imaging
toolkit and the LEADTOOLS
OCR Module by providing properties, methods, and
events for easily incorporating the OMR engine into your applications.
OMR is automated, very fast and accurate. It also has multiple options for different types of applications.
