LEADTOOLS File Service Overview

With the LEADTOOLS File Web Service you can store files and maintain folders remotely on the LEADTOOLS Web Service file server or on any server that you choose to host the service. The LEADTOOLS File Web Service can be used as a stand-alone web service or in conjunction with the LEADTOOLS Image Web Service for remote image processing and the LEADTOOLS OCR Web Service for conversion of images to document formats.

The LEADTOOLS File Service supports basic file and directory commands including remote file and folder deletion, copying and moving. Additionally, the LEADTOOLS File Service includes support for partial uploading and partial downloading (data can be send and received in a specified buffer size from a specified file offset).

You can choose to have this web service hosted by LEAD Technologies, or you may purchase the Web Service itself to have it hosted on an Internet Service Provider of your choosing that supports the hosting of .NET web services.
