EraseDisc Method

The EraseDisc Method is available in LEADTOOLS Document and Medical Imaging toolkits.

Erases the data from the currently loaded rewritable disc, if possible.

Remarks

The media in the drive should be of a type rewriteable to allow this operation. To retrieve the type of the media in the drive, check the MediaWriterDrive.CurrentDiscType property. If an error occurs a Win32Exception will be thrown. Please Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.
