Multimedia Filter and Codec Licensing

LEADTOOLS Multimedia SDKs and LEADTOOLS Medical SDKs are shipped with evaluation versions of certain bundled software modules, including the video and audio codecs and Direct Show filters, which you may find useful in connection with the application software developed with the Multimedia SDKs or the Medical SDKs.

If you are interested in unlocking the licensed version of any audio or video codec or Direct Show filter, you will be required to execute the Duplication and Distribution Agreement applicable to the codecs/filters and purchase runtime licenses for the codec(s)/Filter(s) you wish to distribute or deploy with your application. Once the agreement has been executed and returned to LEAD, LEAD's support department will provide you with the unlock instructions to the release version of the individual codec(s)/filter(s) you wish to license. The agreement may be faxed to 704-372-3789. If you have any questions concerning licensing the codecs/filters, you can contact LEAD licensing at licensing@leadtools.com.

The license to use LEADTOOLS Multimedia, without any of the codecs/filters, is governed by the LEADTOOLS License Agreement, and does not require runtime licensing.
