Specifies the tradeoff setting of the OCR document engine that will be applied during auto-zoning and recognition.

Parameter	Description
hDoc	Handle to the OCR document.
TradeOff	Value that represents the trade-off setting to be set. For a list of possible values, refer to RECOGMODULE_TRADEOFF.

Returns

SUCCESS	The function was successful.
< 1	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

Specifies the tradeoff setting of the OCR document engine that will be applied during auto-zoning and recognition.

To apply auto-zone detection in a specific page, call L_DocFindZones. To recognize a page, call L_DocRecognize.

The OCR document engine trade-off setting is effective for the following recognition modules:

$image\sqrblit.gif$ RECOGMODULE_MTEXT_OMNIFONT: omnifont multi-lingual module.

$image\sqrblit.gif$ RECOGMODULE_MULTI_LINGUAL_OMNIFONT: omnifont module.

$image\sqrblit.gif$ RECOGMODULE_HAND_PRINTED_NUMERAL: handprinted numeral module.

$image\sqrblit.gif$ RECOGMODULE_RER_PRINTED: handprint module.

This setting does not influence the behavior of any other RECOGMODULE recognition module. Not all of the above modules interpret the settings in the same way.

If this function is not called, the default value RECGMD_ACCURATE is applied.
