pDIMENSION is a pointer to a DIMENSION structure. With the L_ReadLoadResolutions function, you declare an array of DIMENSION structures and declare a pDIMENSION pointer to the array. Then, in the function call, you pass the pointer, and the function updates the DIMENSION structures in the array.
