Using TWAIN to Scan Images

32-bit FAST TWAIN support (32-bit) allows you to load and control image acquisition from any device (scanner, digital camera, etc) which supports TWAIN. Use device's built in user-interface or create your own. Analyze the TWAIN source, considering the bits per pixel, image type and compression requested from the TWAIN device, and find the fastest compression type, transfer mode and buffer schemes to get the best performance possible.

Full documentation can be found in TWAIN APITWAIN C++ Class Library help.

NOTE: At the time of release, x64 TWAIN drivers were not available. As soon as they become available, LEADTOOLS will support 64-bit TWAIN.
