Assigns a Windows Media Certificate to the object.

Parameter

Description

pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

newVal

Pointer to a Windows Media Certificate interface pointer.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

You do not need to use this function on computers with Windows Media Format 9.5 components or later. If you install the Windows Media 9.5 redistributable or you have Windows Media Player 9 or later installed, you do not need to use Windows Media Certificates.
