C Syntax |
HRESULT IltmmWMStreamConfig__put_BufferWindow(pStreamConfig, newVal) |
C++ Syntax |
HRESULT put_BufferWindow(newVal) |
IltmmWMStreamConfig *pStreamConfig; |
/* pointer to an interface */ |
long newVal; |
/* latency */ |
Sets the latency in milliseconds between the stream reception and display.
Parameter |
Description |
pStreamConfig |
Pointer to an IltmmWMStreamConfig interface. |
newVal |
The latency value, in milliseconds, to set. |
Returns
S_OK |
The function was successful. |
<> S_OK |
An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation. |
Comments
Use a value of –1 to indicate an unknown latency. The larger the buffer window, the higher the quality in the case of video streams. However, it is not recommended to have streams that have widely different latencies.
You must call IltmmWMProfile::ReconfigStream to use the new value.
