Retrieves the number of the image segments in the hNitf handle. This function is available in the Document Toolkit.

Parameter	Description
hNitf	Handle to an existing NITF file, created by calling the L_NITFCreate function.

Returns

>= 0	Number of image segments.
< 0	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

To retrieve the image header information for a specific image segment, call the L_NITFGetImageHeader function.

To change the image header information for a specific image segment, call the L_NITFSetImageHeader function.
