PTOCA Format (MO:DCA PTOCA)

The Presentation Text Object Content Architecture (PTOCA) is the data object used in document processing environments for representing text, which has been prepared for presentation. Each file contains one or more pages of: formatted text and is always included as part of a document in a MO:DCA file. Each page may reference a PTOCA Overlay, which is merged with the text as a background.  LEAD supports reading single and multipage files. PTOCA overlays can be merged to recreate the original document and many configurable settings including font properties.

There is no default extension.

This format originated at IBM.

This file format does not support QFactor, progressive loads and saves, stamps or Lossless JPEG compression, but it does support multi-page files.

LEADTOOLS supports callbacks to load specific overlay files from a specific path. LEADTOOLS also supports functions to let you set the DPI for the opened image file. Please refer to the PTK Options functions or callbacks.
