Retrieves the restriction, IP address, at the specified index from the list of restrictions.

Parameter

Description

pNetSnk

Pointer to an ILMNetSnk interface.

Index

A zero-based index of the restriction IP address to retrieve from the list of restrictions.

pVal

Pointer to a character string to be updated with the restricted IP address at the specified index in the restriction list.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

A restriction means that no connection is accepted from a specified IP address.

If the function succeeds, the user is responsible for freeing the retrieved IP address string by calling SysFreeString.
