Retrieves a value that indicates whether the list of supported speeds has changed.

Parameter

Description

pDVDBurner

Pointer to an ILTDVDBurner interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates whether the speed list has changed from the last call for the put_CurrentDrive or RefreshSpeedList functions. Possible values are:

 

Value

Meaning

 

VARIANT_TRUE

The supported speed list has changed. The new list can be enumerated using ILTDVDBurner::get_SpeedCount, ILTDVDBurner::GetSpeedName, and ILTDVDBurner::GetSpeedValue.

 

VARIANT_FALSE

The supported speed has not changed since that last time ILTDVDBurner::RefreshSpeedList or ILTDVDBurner::put_CurrentDrive was called.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

If the burner is not in the idle state, the returned value in the pVal parameter will be VARIANT_FALSE.
