Interface methods:

HRESULT get_LeftLevel(long* pVal);

Parameters

pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives the current left channel power level.

Description

Used to query the current left channel power level. The range is –10000 to 0. Full power is 0, and –10,000 is silence; the scale is logarithmic.

Divide by 100 to get equivalent decibel value (for example –10,000 = –100 dB).

Returns

S_OK if successful, an HRESULT error code otherwise.
