Product Description:
LEADTOOLS Barcode features provide support for adding barcode recognition technology to applications developed with LEADTOOLS toolkits. LEADTOOLS Barcode Module functions allow you to read barcodes, write barcodes and find duplicate barcodes within an image.
LEADTOOLS barcode recognition is very fast; it outperforms most hardware-supported barcode read products. This software engine permits fast document scanners to maintain full speed while performing barcode recognition operations on the fly for document-indexing purposes.
Developers have the ability to provide optional configuration settings affecting the detection speed, including number of barcodes expected, barcode orientation, and potential location of barcodes. This flexibility in search parameters can improve the speed of barcode detection.
