Printing
The LEADTOOLS products support three categories of printing: basic printing, available in all toolkits; ePrint printing, available only in the ePrint products; and vector printing, available in the Vector Imaging Pro toolkit. These categories are described in further detail in the following sections.
Basic Printing
LEADTOOLS can perform all image processing necessary to print directly to any Windows supported printer. You have complete control over the position of the image and the size of the printed image.
LEADTOOLS can preprocess the image for you, so it matches the output device, or you can manually preprocess the data before printing, or you can send the data as is so the printer driver processes the data. Some preprocessing functions include to ability to halftone an image (using any angle you specify for the halftone screen) to prepare images for back and white printing. Additionally, you can reduce the colors in an image to use an optimized palette, LEAD palette or a user defined palette.
With LEADTOOLS, you can easily print text using Windows GDI and print multiple images on the same page. Additionally, you can save coding time because you can use the same code to display images to the monitor or printer.

ePrinting
LEADTOOLS ePrint offers you greater flexibility in existing applications that support printing and in the use of physical printers. LEADTOOLS also offers an ePrint SDK, which provides support for customizing the LEADTOOLS ePrint driver by allowing you to create a Windows application or customize the ePrint UI. The application you create can incorporate LEAD or JPEG image compression, which can reduce image files to a size that is only 0.5% of their original size. The application you create can use the LEADTOOLS ePrint driver to:
Redirect a print command to save material as one or more image files
Redirect a print command to send an email to one or more addresses (with or without copies) and include material as one or more image files attached to the email.
Redirect a print command to one or more printers or other devices

Vector Printing
LEADTOOLS support for Vector printing features functionality to scale the vector drawing to any resolution desired without distorting the original image ensures that fine details of the drawing will not be lost during printing.
