Equality Operator
See Also  Example
Leadtools.Forms Namespace > LogicalRectangle Structure : Equality Operator

left
The first LogicalRectangle on the left side of the comparison operator.
right
The second LogicalRectangle on the right side of the comparison operator.
Specifies whether this LogicalRectangle contains the same location, size, and unit as the specified Object.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Operator =( _
   ByVal left As LogicalRectangle, _
   ByVal right As LogicalRectangle _
) As Boolean
C#
public bool operator ==(
   LogicalRectangle left,
   LogicalRectangle right
)
C++/CLI
public:
bool operator ==(
   LogicalRectangle left,
   LogicalRectangle right
)

Parameters

left
The first LogicalRectangle on the left side of the comparison operator.
right
The second LogicalRectangle on the right side of the comparison operator.

Return Value

true if the two LogicalRectangle have the same location, size, and unit of measurement; false, otherwise.

Example

This example compares two rectangle structures.

Visual BasicCopy Code
Public Sub LogicalRectangle_OperatorEquals()
   Dim inches As LogicalRectangle = New LogicalRectangle(1.5F, 2f, 3f, 4f, LogicalUnit.Inch)
   Dim pixels As LogicalRectangle = New LogicalRectangle(inches.ToRectangle(150, 150))
   Dim s As String

   ' should say true
   s = String.Format("Should say True: inches == pixels is {0}", inches = pixels)
   MessageBox.Show(s)

   ' should say false
   s = String.Format("Should say False: inches != pixels is {0}", inches <> pixels)
   MessageBox.Show(s)
End Sub
C#Copy Code
public void LogicalRectangle_OperatorEquals()
{
   LogicalRectangle inches = new LogicalRectangle(1.5F, 2f, 3f, 4f, LogicalUnit.Inch);
   LogicalRectangle pixels = new LogicalRectangle(inches.ToRectangle(150, 150));
   string s;
   // should say true
   s = string.Format("Should say True: inches == pixels is {0}", inches == pixels);
   MessageBox.Show(s);

   // should say false
   s = string.Format("Should say False: inches != pixels is {0}", inches != pixels);
   MessageBox.Show(s);
}

Remarks

If the two rectangles have different units, comparison will be done after temporarily converted both to a common unit.
