L_DicomGetEncryptionAlgorithmTLS

L_LTDIC_API L_UINT32 L_DicomGetEncryptionAlgorithmTLS (hNet, cipher)

HDICOMNET hNet;

/* handle to an existing DICOM Network */

L_CIPHERSUITE cipher;

/* the ciphersuite */

Returns the encryption mode (DES, 3DES, etc) for the cipher.

Parameter

Description

hNet

Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function.

cipher

Value that indicates the ciphersuite for which to get the encryption mode or algorithm.

Returns

A value that indicates the encryption mode or algorithm. Possible values are:

Value

Meaning

L_CRYPT_NONE

[0x00] No encryption. Returned if no secure connection is established.

L_CRYPT_DES

[0x01] DES encryption.

L_CRYPT_3DES

[0x02] 3DES encryption.

L_CRYPT_RC4

[0x03] RC4 encryption.

L_CRYPT_RC2

[0x04] RC2 encryption.

L_CRYPT_IDEA

[0x05] International Data Encryption Algorithm.

L_CRYPT_FORTEZZA

[0x06] Fortezza encryption.

Comments

There are several different cipher suites. Some of these differ only in encryption mode or algorithm.
