L_LTDIC_API L_UINT32 L_DicomGetPeerRequestedMessageLengthISCL(hNet)

HDICOMNET hNet;

/* handle to an existing DICOM Network */

Gets the length of the message sent unsuccessfully by a peer computer. This function is available in the PACS Imaging toolkits.

Parameter

Description

hNet

Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function.

Returns

Size of the message that was refused, in bytes.

Comments

If on a server there is a limit for message size smaller than the one of the client, a client can try to send a very long message. This can lead to problems on the server.
