Determines the position, orientation and roundness of the object in the image.
Parameter |
Description |
|
puX |
Address of a variable to be updated with the x coordinate (in pixels) of the objects center of mass. |
|
puY |
Address of a variable to be updated with the y coordinate (in pixels) of the objects center of mass. |
|
pnAngle |
Address of a variable to be updated with the orientation angle of the objects axis. Valid values are in degrees from 180.00 to 180.00, with negative values produced from clockwise rotation and where 0 is the horizon. |
|
puRoundness |
Address of a variable to be updated with the objects roundness( compactness ). This ratio will be 0 for a line and 100 for a circle. |
|
bWeighted |
Flag that indicates the weighting factor. Possible values are: |
|
|
Value |
Meaning |
|
TRUE |
The pixel intensity value (color) will be used as a weighting factor. |
|
FALSE |
All non-zero pixels will have the same weight. |
uFlags |
Reserved for future use. Must be 0. |
Returns
SUCCESS |
The function was successful. |
< 1 |
An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes. |
Comments
All the objects in the image are considered to be a single object. This function determines various attributes of the object in the image to identify the objects and to determine their position and orientation. If you do not need certain values pass NULL instead.
The results puX, puY and pnAngle obtained by this function are multiplied by 100 in order to obtain more precision. To get the actual results, divide by 100.
To update a status bar or detect a user interrupt during execution of this function, refer to LBase::EnableStatusCallback.
This function supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
This function does not support signed data images. It returns the error code ERROR_SIGNED_DATA_NOT_SUPPORTED if a signed data image is passed to this function.
This function does not support 32-bit grayscale images. It returns the error code ERROR_GRAY32_UNSUPPORTED if a 32-bit grayscale image is passed to this function.
