Cannot Play WMV Files with Custom Codecs in Media Player

Players based on the LEADTOOLS Multimedia toolkit can use VFW or DirectShow video and audio decoders to play WMV files. Media Player requires VFW decoders or ACM audio decoders to play WMV files. Therefore, if you have only a DirectShow decoder for a certain compression algorithm and you use that compression in an WMV file, you can play the WMV file in the LEAD Multimedia Player, but not in the Windows Media Player. To solve this problem, you must obtain a VFW version of the decoder in question. Currently, only the following LEAD codecs have VFW versions:
