ILMNetProtocolManager * pProtMngr;

/* pointer to an interface */

LPCWSTR Name;

/* protocol name */

Unregisters a protocol.

Parameter

Description

pProtMngr

Pointer to an ILMNetProtocolManager interface.

Name

A character string that contains the protocol name to unregister.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

After unregistration, the protocol will not be identified by the toolkit and the URLs of this protocol will not be used to establish connections.
