Parameters

destinationFileName: Name of the destination PDF file to be created. If the value of this parameter is null (Nothing in Visual Basic) then the file name set in FileName will be updated.

A Linearized PDF file is a file that has been organized in a special way to enable efficient incremental access in a network environment, this allows the first page of the PDF file to be displayed in a user Web browser before the entire file is downloaded from the Web server.

To use this method, associate this PDFFile object with a valid PDF file and optional password. You can achieve this by either using the PDFFile(string fileName) or PDFFile(string fileName, string password) constructurs or set the file name and optional password directly into the FileName and Password properties. You do not need to call Load before using this method.

This method will use the following properties of this PDFFile object:

DocumentProperties. If the value of this property is null (Nothing in Visual Basic), then default properties will be used.
CompatibilityLevel. The version of the PDF to be generated

The following properties are not used by this method:

SecurityOptions. You cannot create encrypted linearized PDF files

Note: Currently, generating linearized PDF files with PDF/A compatibility level may result in a PDF file that is not compatible with Adobe Preflight.
