Notifies a connection that an Associate Reject message was received. This function is available in the PACS Imaging.

nResult

Type of rejection. Possible values are:

The source of the rejection. Possible values are:

nReason

Reason for the rejection. This depends on the value of nSource. If nSource is PDU_REJECT_SOURCE_USER, the possible values are:

PDU_REJECT_REASON_APPLICATION

[2] Application context name not supported.

 

PDU_REJECT_REASON_CALLING

[3] Calling AE Title not recognized.

[7] Called AE Title not recognized.

 

If nSource is PDU_REJECT_SOURCE_PROVIDER1, the possible values are:

PDU_REJECT_REASON_VERSION

[2] Protocol version not supported.

 

If nSource is PDU_REJECT_SOURCE_PROVIDER2, the possible vlaues are:

[1] Temporary congestion.

 

PDU_REJECT_REASON_LIMIT

[2] Local client limit exceeded.

UserData

Void pointer that you can use to access a variable or structure containing data that your callback function needs. This gives you a way to receive data indirectly from the function that uses this callback function.

 

Keep in mind that this is a void pointer, which must be cast to the appropriate data type within your callback function.

None.

Comments

A call to this function is generated on an SCU when an SCP calls L_DicomSendAssociateReject. For more information on DICOM Associate connections, refer to Creating a DICOM Associate Connection.

To use this callback function, RECEIVEASSOCIATEREJECTCALLBACK must be set using L_DicomSetCallback.
