#include "ltdic.h"

L_LTDIC_API L_UINT32 L_DicomGetIntegrityAlgorithmTLS(hNet, cipher)

HDICOMNET hNet;

/* handle to an existing DICOM Network */

L_CIPHERSUITE cipher;

/* ciphersuite */

Returns the message authentication code type (MD5, SHA) for the cipher.

Parameter

Description

hNet

Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function.

cipher

Value that indicates the ciphersuite for which to get the message authentication mode or algorithm.

Returns

A value that represents the message authentication code type. Possible values are:

Value

Meaning

L_MAC_NONE

[0x00] Returned if no secure connection is established.

L_MAC_SHA1

[0x10] Secure Hash Algorithm (New and improved algorithm)

L_MAC_MD5

[0x11] Message-Digest algorithm 5

Comments

There are several different cipher suites. Some differ only in the MAC algorithm.
