Comments

Starting in version 17.5 of the toolkit, you can easily and quickly customize the DICOM Element Tag table by editing the dicTableElement.xml file that is found in the LEADTOOLS Sample Images folder.  The dicTableElement.xml file is a human-readable XML file that lists all of the DICOM Element Tags currently defined in the DICOM Specification.  You can edit this with any text editor (i.e. notepad) to add or remove DICOM Element Tags. Then call L_DicomLoadXmlTag() and pass the full path of the dicTableElement.xml file.   Note that calling  L_DicomLoadXmlTag() will first remove all Element Tags that are already present in the table.

To see the default values for the DICOM Element Tag Table, refer to the Default Data Element Tag Table.

For more information, see the topic Working with DICOM Tables.
