Retrieves the index of the processor that matches the specified name.

Character string that containing the name of the processor to find. |

Pointer to a variable that receives zero based index of the matching processor. A value of –1 indicates that no match was found. |

Comments
A processor’s name is unique. An application can use this function to find a specific processor. A processors’s name can be retrieved with the IltmmProcessor::get_Name function or by using the LTMM DirectShow Filter List Utility.
