(Read only) This property is updated with the default subpicture language set using the ltmmDVDControl.SelectDefaultSubpictureLanguage Method. The value of this property is an LCID value (containing a LANGID parameter) from which sublanguage information can be extracted using the Win32 LANGIDFROMLCID macro.

The ltmmDVDControl.DefaultSubpictureLanguageExt Property contains the default subpicture language extension.

Call the ltmmDVDControl.GetSubpictureLanguage Method to retrieve the language of a specific subpicture stream within the current title The name for a group of related video files (called "Chapters") on your DVD. For example, for a DVD called "My Summer Vacation," you might have the titles "Water Skiing," "New Friends," and "Hiking." For each of those titles, you might have one or more different video files..

Call the ltmmDVDControl.SelectDefaultSubpictureLanguage Method to set the default subpicture text language.
