The HANDPRINTOPTIONS2 structure contains options for hand-printing recognition.

Member

Description

uStructSize

Structure size. It should be equal to sizeof(HANDPRINTOPTIONS2).

style

Writing style setting for the hand-printed numerals recognition module. For a list of possible options, refer to DOC2_HANDRECOG_STYLE.

bSpace

Flag that indicates whether the hand-printed numeral recognition module should export spaces detected between characters. Possible values are:

Value

Meaning

TRUE

Export spaces detected between characters.

FALSE

Do not export spaces detected between characters.

nCharHeight

Character height, in 1/1200ths of an inch. A value of zero (0) forces the automatic calculation of this parameter. If this parameter is zero (0), the remaining fields are also considered 0.

nCharWidth

Character width, in 1/1200ths of an inch. A value of zero (0) forces the automatic calculation of this parameter.

nCharSpace

Leading spaces, in 1/1200ths of an inch. A value of zero (0) forces the automatic calculation of this parameter.

Comments

This structure is used only when the recognition module is DOC2_RECOGMODULE_HAND_PRINTED_NUMERAL.

pHANDPRINTOPTIONS2 is a pointer to a HANDPRINTOPTIONS2 structure. If the function parameter type is pHANDPRINTOPTIONS2, declare a HANDPRINTOPTIONS2 variable, update the structure's fields, and pass the variable's address in the parameter. Declaring a pHANDPRINTOPTIONS2 variable is necessary only if the program requires a pointer.

This structure is used with the following functions:

L_Doc2SetHandPrintOptions

L_Doc2GetHandPrintOptions
