ServerIdentity Property

Gets or sets the expected WCF service identity required for X509 certificate authentication mode.

Property Value

A System.ServiceModel.DnsEndpointIdentity to check the Identity of the remote identity; this values can be set to null.

Remarks

Use this property to explicitly specify the System.ServiceModel.DnsEndpointIdentity for outgoing messages.

This property is useful when connecting to a WCF service where the service address differ than the server identity or when using an invalid (test) certificate.
