Adds a new waveform annotation to the channel.

Parameter

Description

hDICOMWaveFormChannel	A DICOM waveform channel handle
pAnnotation	Pointer to a DICOMWAVEFORMANNOTATION structure containing the new waveform annotation attributes.

Returns

DICOM_SUCCESS	The function was successful.
> 0	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

This function fails and returns DICOM_ERROR_NULL_PTR if pAnnotation is NULL.

Before calling this function, initialize pAnnotation>uStructSize to be sizeof(DICOMWAVEFORMANNOTATION) and initialize all the members of the structure.
