Returns the "Multiplex Group" that represents the parent of the waveform channel.

A DICOM waveform channel handle

Returns

!NULL	A DICOM waveform group handle that represents the parent of the waveform channel.
NULL	An error occurred.

Comments

This function returns a DICOM waveform group handle that represents the parent of the waveform channel.

A waveform in DICOM consists of one or more multiplex groups, each encoded into an Item in the Waveform Sequence (5400,0100). All channels within a multiplex group are synchronously digitized at a common sampling frequency.
