Gets the number of overlays in the DICOM dataset.

Parameter	Description
hDS	A DICOM handle.
pCount	Pointer to a variable to be updated with the overlay count.

Returns

DICOM_SUCCESS	The function was successful.
>0	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

This function will return the number of overlays inside a DICOM dataset by counting the number of repeating groups in the range (6000-601E).
