L_LTKRN_API L_VOID L_AccessBitmap(pBitmap)
pBITMAPHANDLE pBitmap; |
/* pointer to the bitmap handle */ |
Provides exclusive access to the image data contained in a bitmap handle.
Parameter |
Description |
pBitmap |
Pointer to the bitmap handle that references the bitmap to lock. |
Returns
None.
Comments
This call locks the memory. If you do not call this function before accessing the data with a low-level function such as L_GetBitmapRow or L_PutBitmapRow, the application will fail.
To make the most of available system resources, you should only keep a bitmap handle locked when you need to access the image data. Call L_ReleaseBitmap to unlock the bitmap data for more efficient use of Windows memory resources.
