ILMDVRSource::CopyBufferToFile

C Syntax

HRESULT ILMDVRSource_CopyBufferToFile(pILMDVRSource, pszTargetFile, startOffset, endOffset)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT CopyBufferToFile(pszTargetFile, startOffset, endOffset)

 

ILMDVRSource *pILMDVRSource;

/* pointer to an interface */

BSTR pszTargetFile;

/* pointer to target file */

double startOffset;

/* starting offset */

double endOffset;

/* ending offset */

Copies the buffered recording data to the specified fully qualified target file pathname.

Parameter

Description

pILMDVRSource

Pointer to an ILMDVRSource interface.

pszTargetFile

Pointer to a fully qualified pathname of destination file.

startOffset

Starting offset of data to copy.

endOffset

Ending offset of data to copy.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Returns S_OK if successful; otherwise, returns a code indicating the reason for failure:

E_UNEXPECTED = Starting offset not found.

DISP_E_BADINDEX = Index supplied is outside the range of currently valid indexes.

LTMM_E_DVR_NO_RECORDINGS = No .LRC recording files exist.

E_INVALIDARG = Either the number of files or file size specified is not valid.
