ILMNetSnk::AddRestriction

C Syntax

HRESULT ILMNetSnk_AddRestriction(pNetSnk, Address, pVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT AddRestriction(Address, pVal)

 

ILMNetSnk * pNetSnk;

/* pointer to an interface */

BSTR Address;

/* IP address */

long *pVal;

/* pointer to a variable */

Adds the specified IP address to the list of restrictions.

Parameter

Description

pNetSnk

Pointer to an ILMNetSnk interface.

Address

A character string that contains the IP address to be added to the restriction list.

pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with the zero based index of the added restriction in the restriction list.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

A restriction means that no connection is accepted from a specified IP address.

An existing connection will be kept alive if the originating IP address is added to the restriction list.
