C Syntax

HRESULT IltmmCapture_get_UseVideoDeviceAudio(pCapture, pVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_UseVideoDeviceAudio(pVal)

 

IltmmCapture * pCapture;

/* pointer to an interface */

VARIANT_BOOL *pVal;

/* pointer to variable*/

Determines whether or not the audio in the video device is used.

Parameter

Description

pCapture

Pointer to an IltmmCapture interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives a value indicating if the audio in the video device is used. Possible values are:

 

Value

Meaning

 

VARIANT_FALSE

The audio in the video device is not used.

 

VARIANT_TRUE

The audio in the video device is used.

Returns

S_OK

The function ran successfully.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Call IltmmCapture::put_UseVideoDeviceAudio to specify whether or not to use the audio from the video device.
