DV stands for Digital Video and has been defined in "Specification of Consumer-use Digital VCRs" (aka the Blue Book).

The stream is a byte stream with no time stamps. For example, a hardware compressed stream. |

The stream type is interleaved. For example, stream used by Digital Video (DV ). |

The stream type is video. |

Comments
The string referenced by Type contains a formatted Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) of the form {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}.
If the function succeeds, the caller must free the BSTR referenced by Type, by calling the SysFreeString function.
