IltmmConvert::put_TargetObject

C Syntax

HRESULT IltmmConvert_put_TargetObject(pConvert, newVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT put_TargetObject(newVal)

 

IltmmConvert *pConvert;

/* pointer to an interface */

IUnknown *newVal;

/* media data */

Sets the media target to a COM object.

Parameter

Description

pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

newVal

Pointer to the COM object that will receive the media data.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function allows the user to assign a COM object as the media target for the conversion process. The object may be the ltmmSampleTarget Object or any other DirectShow renderer filter. The ResetTarget function should be called to stop the convert object from accessing the object. The TargetType will be set to ltmmConvert_Target_Object.
