IltmmPlay::LoadSettingsFromFile

C Syntax

HRESULT IltmmPlay_LoadSettingsFromFile(pPlay, SourceFile, Flags)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT LoadSettingsFromFile(SourceFile, Flags)

 

IltmmPlay *pPlay;

/* pointer to an interface */

BSTR SourceFile;

/* file name */

long Flags;

/* flags */

Loads settings from a file. This reconstructs the playing configuration based on the settings saved to the file.

Parameter

Description

pPlay

Pointer to an IltmmPlay interface.

SourceFile

Character string that contains the name of the file that contains the settings to load.

Flags

Flags that indicate the loading options. For a list of possible values, refer to ltmmPlay_Settings Constants.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The player object's settings can be saved to a file by calling IltmmPlay::SaveSettingsToFile. The player object's settings can be saved to a stream by calling IltmmPlay::SaveSettingsToStream.

Settings saved to a stream can be loaded using IltmmPlay::LoadSettingsFromStream.
