Before showing this dialog, call the IltmmCapture::put_TargetFile function to set the target file name. If file name is not available, pass an empty string to the newVal parameter.

Specifies the properties dialog box for the preview video renderer .

Specifies the properties dialog box for the preview audio renderer .

Specifies the first selected audio processors properties dialog box. Additional processors may be specified by adding the processors collection index to this constant. A maximum of 256 processors may be specified.

IltmmCapture::ShowDialog

Also known as an encoder , this is a module or algorithm to compress data. Playing that data back requires a decompressor, or decoder .

The format to be used for the converted file. This includes the file format, any special settings used by that format, and which audio and/or video codec is to be used for the conversion, and any special settings used by the codecs.

The DirectShow component responsible for playing the video. Some renderers might have useful settings you can adjust if you have problems playing the video.

The audio device that will play the sound. This is usually your sound card. Some computers have more than one sound playback device. You choose which sound playback device will play the sound by selecting the corresponding audio renderer.

Also known as a decompressor, this is a module or algorithm to decompress data.

Also known as compressor, this is a module or algorithm to compress data. Playing that data back requires a decompressor, or decoder.

A COmpressor combined with a DECompressor, or encoder and a decoder, which allows you to both compress and decompress that same data.
