LEAD's Screen Capture Codec Filter (VFW) is a VFW codec for compressing video data using LEAD's proprietary screen capture standard. For more information on LEAD's screen capture compression, refer to LEAD Screen Capture Encoder.

New applications should use the LEAD Screen Capture Encoder /Decoder filters. This codec is provided for compatibility with older applications. This VFW codec is also used by Media Player to play WMV files using LEAD SCR compression.
