C Syntax

HRESULT IltmfCaptureInputs_Find(pCaptureInputs, Name, Index)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT Find(Name, Index)

 

IltmfCaptureInputs *pCaptureInputs;

BSTR Name;

/* string */

long *Index;

/* pointer to a variable */

Retrieves the index of the input that matches the specified name.

Parameter

Description

pCaptureInputs

Pointer to an IltmfCaptureInputs interface.

Name

Character string that containing the name of the input to find.

Index

Pointer to a variable that receives zero based index of the matching input. A value of 1 indicates that no match was found.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

An inputs name is unique. An application can use this function to find a specific input. An inputs name can be retrieved with the IltmfCaptureInput::get_Name function.
