IltmfConvert::put_SourceFile

C Syntax

HRESULT IltmfConvert_put_SourceFile(pConvert, newVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT put_SourceFile(newVal)

 

IltmfConvert *pConvert;

/* pointer to an interface */

BSTR newVal;

/* file name */

Sets the media source to a file.

Parameter

Description

pConvert

Pointer to an IltmfConvert interface.

newVal

Character string that contains the media data file name.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

This function sets the media data source to the specified file name. The ResetSource function should be called to stop the convert object from accessing the file. The SourceType will be set to ltmfConvert_Source_File.

The filename can be used to indicate a regular file or a stream.
