IltmfPlay::put_CurrentFramePosition

C Syntax

HRESULT IltmfPlay_put_CurrentFramePosition(pPlay, newVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT put_CurrentFramePosition(newVal)

 

IltmfPlay *pPlay;

/* pointer to an interface */

long newVal;

/* frame position */

Sets the current frame position.

Parameter

Description

pPlay

Pointer to an IltmfPlay interface.

newVal

New position, in frames.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

This function allows the user to seek to the specified frame position. However, not all media formats allow frame seeking. Users should call CheckSeekingCapabilities to determine if ltmfPlay_Seeking_FrameBackward and ltmfPlay_Seeking_FrameForward are enabled.
