HRESULT IltmfVideoFormat_get_SubTypeFriendlyName(pVideoFormat, pVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_SubTypeFriendlyName(pVal)

 

IltmfVideoFormat *pVideoFormat;

BSTR *pVal;

/* pointer to a variable */

Retrieves the video format type friendly name.

Parameter

Description

pVideoFormat

Pointer to an IltmfVideoFormat Interface.

pVal

Pointer to a character string that receives the video format type friendly name.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

Call IltmfVideoFormat::get_SubTypeName to get the GUID of the video format type.
