Hi,

There is a sample program at:
LEADTOOLS 17.5\Examples\Ltmm Multimedia\Dotnet\CS\Callback

It shows how to add special effects to an existing video. Once an effect, such as average effect, is selected, you can run the resulting video which has average effect applied to it. But there is no save button, which means this demo does not show you have to save a new video, such as an avi file, with the special effect applied to it.

My question is: where can I find information on how to save a video with special effect applied to it.
Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

Jiming

Hello Jiming,
That particular demo is only using our PlayCtrl with the Video Callback filter to modify the image data. In order to save the output of the modified video frames, you would need to use the Callback Filter with a ConvertCtrl.

Your application would be setup similarly to the demo, but instead of using a PlayCtrl, you would replace that object with a ConvertCtrl. When you're ready to save the output, you would use the ConvertCtrl method StartConvert(). You would first need to set the TargetFile property of the ConvertCtrl to the output file you wish to save.
