I am using the latest version of leadtools; it appears that I can not reuse the same rdf file without throwing an error 'General error in the engine'. I must either use a different rdf file or delete the rdf file before rerunning recognition. Is there a way around this while reusing the same rdf file for multiple different pages being recognized or must I delete the rdf each time?

Thanks!

If you perform recognition with an RDF file name that already exists on
the disk, the OCR engine will append new recognition results to the
already existing data and does not overwrite or delete the old results.
If you do that and save the output to any format, it will contain all
results. Unless this is what you specifically want (combined data from
different OCR operations), you should either delete or rename the RDF before performing recognition.

Thanks,

I will detect and delete where necessary. Good to know about the append. Again it may be of interest that I do get an engine error thown when I was resuing the rdf during operations that output to the Excel format. I can work around it. Thanks!
